The Scene Experience:

For the first half of our evening we had cocktails and appetizers at the new Borracha Mexican cantina. We were greeted right away from a friendly hostess and seated quickly, the atmosphere was filled with excited people waiting to try this wonderful new place. The decor is a surrounding of Aztec meets cantina and sports bar all in one.  With multiple flat screens playing the same sports game it did take away from cantina atmosphere however when the cocktails and appetizers started showing up from our very friendly serving staff our attention was drawn towards the actual reason to visit. The house favorite cocktail was the Pablo Chacon. An amazing blend of tequila and cucumber! With one sip, it takes you to the shores of a Mexican beach! The favored appetizer was crispy beef taquitos. Wonderful crispy textured outside and spicy beef inside.

When you enter Bottiglia, you feel like you've stepped into an Italian bistro! The servers wear denim, purple plaid and a whimsical bow ties that support the theme of the venue. As a guest for their opening night event,  we were greeted and served with a very refreshing Sangria Blanco considered to be the house favorite, immediately followed by a delicious buratta & tomato caprese and chopped salad. The appetizers consisted of surprising delicious char grilled octopus, beef carpaccio and wonderful zucchini flowers.  As if that wasn't enough to fill us up, the main course finished the job!  We had Baked gnocchi arrabbiata, Sausage & Broccoli Rabe, Lobster fra Diavoli and a pan roasted halibut.  As the night came to an end, we finished the evening with desert by ordering an amazing Lemon Poppyseed donuts, Strawberry Limoncello Pannacotta and finally a spectabular lattee.  If your looking for a unique fine dining experience away from the strip, we suggest you try Bottiglia Enoteca.
