Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens

Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is embracing the grandeur of the autumn season with its newest display, “Enchantment: The Magic of Fall.” Through November 25, guests can journey through a breathtaking storybook scene filled with playful creatures and one-of-a-kind floral creations.

Imagined by designer Ed Libby and brought to life by Bellagio’s Horticulture team,

the display transports visitors to a new realm filled with colorful fall flora and fauna, lavish artistry and moments of pure magic as fanciful music plays and the aroma of spiced apple cider fills the air.

“As guests step into our fall exhibit, they will be whisked away from reality, immersed into the unforgettable feeling of autumn’s timeless beauty and elegance,” said Libby. “When designing ‘Enchantment: The Magic of Fall,’ our goal was to capture the wonder of the season and design a storybook world that defies reality.”

West Bed
At the center of the West Bed, a harvest fairy crosses a bridge to greet an oversized Monarch butterfly that floats curiously toward her outstretched hand, serving as a symbol of change, hope and revival. A fairy house made of botanicals, lush floral and metallic gold framing offers cozy quarters for ethereal creatures resting within. Overhead, a crescent moon smiles upon the scene, providing an idyllic backdrop for a meal at The Garden Table.

North Bed
The North Bed serves as an enchanting workshop where fairies fly about gracefully, using a larger-than-life sewing machine to bring lovely fall dresses to life. At the edge of the bed, an ornate, ancient spell book grants an intricate peek into the Conservatory’s design, allowing visitors a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the display’s blueprints. Towering oak trees with sprawling branches unfold into a symphony of reds, oranges and yellows, as fall leaves hang high above the bed. LED screens fills the display’s background with scenes of transforming books, leaves, stars and outdoor landscapes.

East Bed
Within the East Bed, guests cross a stone pathway beneath the shelter of a mystical oak tree to the wonders of a new realm. Colorful mushrooms made of live carnations, preserved roses and marigolds grow tall while illuminated acorn lanterns guide the way. Flying delicately beneath the bright canopy of leaves, artisan fairies work to put the finishing touches on the wooded passageway. Popular figures in various folklore from around the world, fairies are often associated with good fortune, protection and healing.

South Bed
A 25-foot-tall fairy dwelling stands at the center of the South Bed, designed with butterfly-inspired stain glass, gold-accented scrolls and a sunflower-adorned awning. Surrounded by a colorful scene of pumpkins, flowers and trees, a benevolent sunflower fairy crosses a pond to her skillfully constructed home as a waterfall gently cascades into the pond below. At the corner of the bed, a sunflower statue anchors the area, its iconic florets radiating color and joy.

The Garden Table
A uniquely immersive and exclusive epicurean adventure, The Garden Table awaits inside a charming fairy home nestled in the enchanting Bellagio Conservatory. Guests can enjoy a serene and private dining experience while overlooking the breathtaking botanical scenes of the magic of fall. Sustainability at the Conservatory
Water used in Bellagio’s Conservatory and Botanical Gardens comes from on-site underground wells that use rain and recycled water from the resort, avoiding the use of municipal potable water. The water in the Conservatory is also recycled throughout the exhibit and reused at the resort. Bellagio’s water conservation efforts are part of MGM Resorts International’s overall sustainability commitment. At the conclusion of each display, plants and botanical material without remaining viable life are separated for collection by a local composting facility. The organic waste is made into compost products to help improve the environment. This method of recycling keeps thousands of pounds of waste out of local landfills and turns it into something that improves the region’s soil, air and water quality. Guests are invited to take a little bit of the Bellagio Conservatory home with the custom spiced apple cider “Enchantment" keepsake candle available at The Giardini Garden Store or at BellagioatHome.com.
