At the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night, 13 bottles of Virginia Black Whiskey were brought up on stage by Drake and his entourage, which included his dad, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne, as he accepted the Artist of the Year award - his 13th award of the night - breaking the record for most awards won in a single year. Virginia Black, the whiskey Drake created with Brent Hocking, hosted an exclusive backstage VIP lounge at the show where The Chainsmokers celebrated their wins by taking shots of whiskey with actor Ansel Elgort. Kate Beckinsale, Mark Cuban and Nicole Scherzinger were also hanging out in the lounge.

THE EVENT RECAP "DRAKE'S PERFORMANCE WAS TOP NOTCH!"

During the show Drake performed his song Gyalchester from the middle of the Fountains of Bellagio. The song's lyrics include a nod to his whiskey brand in which he raps "Virginia Black, I could go and make enough money off that and not even rap." Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and entourage celebrate with Virginia Black whiskey at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards. Drake takes a shot of Virginia Black whiskey on stage at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards.
