"The unique event is unlike anything I've been to or participated in. It was an incredible experience from day to night, starting at sunset and gliding into the dark, stunning night sky; we listened to music that elevated the evening and watched as a massive crowd lit and let go of illuminating lanterns all at the same time when announced to do so. Watching all the lanterns flow into the sky with the stars above became breathtaking. In contrast, the night sky lit up with thousands of points of light, and everyone's lanterns floated off into the distance.

It was an emotional experience knowing that everyone had written a special message of loss, hope, or life on their lanterns." Held for several years now, each fall, you can experience the event just minutes from the strip outside Las Vegas at the Mojave Desert, 25 miles south of the strip on the Jean Dry Lakebed. This experience was one of the top-rated coverages for things to do beyond Vegas. The venue location captures the desert backdrop beauty and scenery that captures unique selfies and memorable photos.

"I could not stop looking at the dark sky in the mystical desert with the moon and bright lanterns floating in the crisp breeze."

It created a spiritual atmosphere like nothing else!" Cindy Rodriguez

The photos capture a unique backdrop of the desert and people at the event, posing naturally. Many people were at the event to witness and experience this one-of-a-kind event. The photos we share of the last event include a wedding couple and a group of friends, and a unique night pose from another individual shows the event in its true state.

I am happy to recommend it to anyone who is looking for a feeling of peace, tranquility, and more. One of my guests at the event said it was amazing to be part of the experience. She said it was unlike anything I've been to or participated in; the experience of the lanterns was breathtaking to watch the night sky light up with thousands of points of light as everyone's lanterns took off and floated high in the sky, especially knowing that everyone had written a special message of loss, hope or live on their lanterns.

I spoke to the founder of this event, who helped launch a previous well-known event, "the color run", the founder of Electric run, and was part of Fun Run and many other events. Over six years ago, he started this event to slow down but still be involved in something big and positive. We asked the event founder what the inspiration for this event in Las Vegas was, and he stated, "Our outdoor venue in the gorgeous Mojave Desert allows us to come together while still following safety precautions."

A few things people coming for the first time can expect at the festival from the founder's view: "The beauty of RiSE is that it's something that just has to be seen in person. Everyone attending this year's festival can expect a joyful and meaningful experience they'll never forget. We pride ourselves on creating a positive and accepting environment for all our attendees.
